The Voyager Synthesizer from moog is not only a true, monophonic analog synth, but so much more and one of the few instruments that truly deserves the classification.
It possesses all of the conventional sound characteristics and functions of the legendary Minimoog “model D“. Additional features include a multidimensional touchpad unit, a MIDI interface, and a variety of connection possibilities as well as a bunch of new features.
This is the only way to allow genuine analog sounds to shine! The signal path begins with three voltage controlled, tuning stabile oscillators, a noise generator as well as an audio preamp for the use with external audio signals. Sound changes are made with both of the juicy low-pass filters and an analog VCA in typical Moog style.
Modulation sources include two ADSR (Attack Decay Sustain Release) envelope generators and one multi-waveform LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator). Sound production control through a velocity sensitive, after-touch capable, 44-note keyboard, pitch-bend and modulation wheels, the touchpad and a variety of pedal and voltage control connections.
Like the original "Model D" Minimoog Synthesizer, the Voyager features a tiltable panel and robust wooden housing made from real ash.
